WordPress, HTML5 & CSS3 Workshops with E-NOISE at PopUpHOUSE

E-NOISE will be holding a day of workshops on Wednesday 22nd September at PopUpHOUSE. In the morning there will be a drop-in introduction to everyone’s favourite CMS, WordPress, and the afternoon will host an introduction to HTML5 & CSS3. Tickets for HTML5 and CSS3 (an introduction) can be pre-booked from the Tickets page.

WordPress 101

This drop-in session from 10am – 1pm will aim to give a helping with hand setting up and running your first WordPress site. The workshop will cover installation, best practice, recommended plugins and content creation. If you have any questions please bring your own laptop, PopUpHOUSE will have WiFi.

HTML5 and CSS3 (an introduction)

The afternoon session from 2pm with “village wizard” Lupo Montero and ‘Interface Doctor’ Sven Lito will try to explain what HTML5 and CSS3 are and why they have such a profound impact on the way we think of the world wide web. In order to do this they will cover the basic concepts that make up “the web”, look at how it first came into being and how it has evolved into becoming something it never intended to be. This inevitably leads to the need for a new description of how the web “actually” works and how it “should” work. HTML5 and CSS3 attempt to do exactly that.
