Introduction to Branding Workshop with {stranger} at PopUpHOUSE

Mark Dowsett from {stranger} will hold a workshop on Thursday 23rd September at PopUpHOUSE. The workshop called “Identify Yourself: An introduction to branding and visual identity” will introduce the fundamentals of branding and take you through a simplified process on how to define your visual identity.

Through hands-on practical activities and discussion the workshop will allow you to:

  • Discover the role of visual identity within branding
  • Outline elements to create your own visual identity
  • Provide practical advice on how to move forward

The workshop is suitable for designer-makers, small companies or anyone trading as an individual and all materials will be provided.

Mark Dowsett

Mark is a graduate in design from Northumbria University and postgraduate of Central Saint Martin’s. He has a breadth of knowledge and experience encompassing furniture, graphic, digital and interactive design. Throughout his career he has designed creative solutions for a broad range of clients that includes Cadbury, BT, Pantene, Max Factor, Olay, English Heritage, Firetrap and Oxford University. With a passion for human and digital interaction Mark set up his own studio Stranger in 2009. At Stranger they like conversations; recognising the importance to communicate personally and instinctively. This approach is integral to their process and ensures they always deliver quality, inventive and effective solutions.
