HOUSE are delighted to announce that Paula Zuccotti, Associate Director at global design and innovation company Seymourpowell, will be holding a talk on understanding the role of ethnography and user research in the process of design and innovation.
The talk will take place on Thursday 23rd September at PopUpHOUSE, 1 Berwick Street. More information about tickets will be announced soon.
Paula commented, “I’m thrilled to be taking part in PopUpHOUSE. The team at HOUSE have a special style that works well to nurture collaboration, which I believe is important to the future of the creative industries.”
With regards to her involvement, she added, “My work includes extensive travel and immersion into the real lives and environments of product users (from shadowing mobile workers across the country, to witnessing girls in Tokyo getting ready for a night-out). By giving this talk at PopUpHOUSE I hope to convey the message to new design talent to always put people at the start and centre of every project, as ultimately design is about making things better for people.”

Paula Zuccotti is Head of User Research and Associate Director at global design and innovation company Seymourpowell.
Paula joined Seymourpowell in 2001 with a First Class honours degree in Industrial Design from the University of Buenos Aires and a Masters in Design Strategy and Innovation from Brunel University. Since then Paula has developed Seymourpowell’s renowned Ethnographic Research offer. She is an expert in translating user-centric insights into opportunities for new product, services, brand and user interface development and directs global-scale consumer research into projects for a wide scope of clients such as Nokia, Hellmann’s, Samsung, Rexona (Sure), Tesco, Dove.
